🔥 Create a training module in record time based on your PowerPoint materials.

Preparation
I open my presentation slides or create one from scratch for the module, using software like PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
Export to PDF
Currently, Complement only accepts PDF files, so I export my presentation as a PDF. Complement will soon be compatible with PPT files and will be able to import Google Slides and Office 365 presentations.

On my platform Complement
I create a new module, specifying its name, author, and description.
Background behind the avatar
(Optional) I choose an image related to the module as the background behind the avatar.

Sending the support file
In the PDF import window, I add all the pages as slides, or I choose the page range I want. My slides are then added to my module.

(Optional) Adding resources
I'm adding web pages and PDFs to the "Additional Resources" tab. My students will be able to access them.
(Optional) RAG Activation
I'm activating Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). The avatar will prioritize searching these additional documents for answers to my learners' questions.

Adding text to slides
I dictate or type the information that the AI avatar should present for each slide. The wording isn't important, as everything will be reformulated according to the user's settings.
Adding interaction questions
I add an interaction question to a slide: the avatar will ask my question to introduce the slide and start an exchange with the user.

Added chapter markers
Added quizzes
Added quiz questions
For each question, I specify the question to ask and the expected answer. The AI will do the rest to determine whether the user answered correctly or not. I can add an illustration image for the question and automatically generate additional quiz questions with the AI.

Access Management
I choose who can follow the module in the "Access" tab.
Publication
All my changes are saved automatically. All I have to do is publish when my module is ready.

Integrations & connectors

Use the huge volumes of exchanges between avatars and learners to update your content.
Module Dashboard
Access a dashboard for each module, with the details of the avatar questions and the answers to the quiz.
Analyze the most frequently asked questions and complete the module with missing information
Analyze the answers to the quizs, then correct the poorly understood formulations, and develop the concepts that were not sufficiently explained

Progress table
Access a progress chart on Complement. Or view progress directly in your LMS.
Advancement (%) and time spent
Training validation date
Quiz results
User Dashboard
Based on all user interactions complete monitoring dashboard : test results progress , strengths & weaknesses, misunderstood concepts .
Identify learners in difficulty before examination
Implement preventive actions

Assessment Questions
No more impossible-to-collect feedback. The avatar now asks your learners your assessment questions orally, and their transcribed responses appear in the module dashboard.
User required to respond to proceed
Oral feedback is generally very detailed and richer than written feedback.
Export returns to Excel format for external analysis
By default, the avatar responds using the model's training data and information it finds online. However, you can choose to enable RAG ). You insert your sources and additional resources for each training session, such as PDFs or a Wikipedia page. The avatar will then prioritize searching for the answer in these resources. This way, there's no possibility of hallucinations; users always receive a relevant and verified answer.
Complement is very different from other authoring tools: the avatar keeps in memory the exchanges from one slide to another, and stores the answers and questions asked. It cannot therefore work with the SCORM standard, in which each slide or screen is independent but played before/after another. However, Complement is compatible with the LTI standard. This means that the Complement solution can be integrated into an Iframe within your LMS as an external tool, and will update users' progress in your LMS automatically. This standard allows protected communication (SSL) and prevents users from having to identify. They will thus have a fluid experience while staying on your LMS platform.
Complement reproduces the experience of the home trainer, by their natural oral interaction and the possibility of asking questions. Instead of needing to change format and screen every 3 minutes so as not to get bored, the user takes advantage of a real conversation with his virtual teacher and can give free rein to his curiosity. According to beta-test, the immersion and concentration of users are higher in this format, allowing them better understanding and memorization of the course.
Only when the end user (not the designer or the administrator) is on the call interface following a module. Time is not deducted when the avatar is on pause, when the avatar is awaiting the user's answer to a question of the quiz, or even when the Complement tab is not active (the user is on another tab).
